Back to School Clothes
Lucia thought to make her friends drool
With the new clothes she bought just for school.
The colors were bright,
But the pants were too tight
And split when she sat on a stool.

There once was a princess named Reese,
Who pulled on her coat made of fleece
pulled on her gloves, and her bright yellow boots,
then wiggled and giggled, shouting out great hoots,
as Great Aunt Rox tickled her very great niece.

on looking out back at my two Adirondack chairs…
There is a famed poet named Billy
who writes lovely poems, some quite silly.
But silly or not,
He gives them much thought.
No word is writ willy-nilly
